Do you need composite fillings?
Composite fillings are tooth-colored mixture made with plastic and glass. It resembles the natural look of the teeth and is used to fill cavities and alleviate any pain caused by damaged or decayed teeth.
Cracked and damaged teeth caused by injury or trauma needs immediate restoration.
If you exhibit other symptoms of dental decay in addition to tooth pain or sensitivity.
If you’re experiencing tooth pain this is a common sign you might have cavities and need dental fillings.
Presence of brown or white patches on your teeth caused by food, fluorosis, or trauma.
Your teeth are slowly deteriorating and wearing away due to grinding and chattering.
Sensitive teeth are usually the result when enamel is worn or there are exposed tooth roots. Dental fillings are necessary when this happens.
We advise using a white tooth filling when you have a cavity that needs to be filled to ensure that the repair is nearly invisible to everyone. Small and moderate areas of decay can be repaired using resins for long-lasting, realistic-looking results that can make you feel better about your smile.

No. It is generally painless because of the applied anesthesia to numb the tooth. You will feel the taps on your tooth while the dentist is placing the filling, but it is not painful. If there is discomfort, let us know so we can do something about it.
The average lifespan of a composite filling is about 5-7 years. This of course depends on the oral hygiene, diet, and the location of the filling. Lifespan will also be shorter if the person grinds and chatters teeth.
